So I got in touch with a guy from Mackin, and they don't offer or have anything in place for a certified repair/refurbish service. They do have recommendations on wheel repair shops in their area. But it sounds like a one-off, not any different than my own research for a wheel repair place. So unless it's covered under warranty, you're on your own.
Although I can see why a company would not recommend taking apart their wheels for liability reasons, if an end-to-end solution is not offered by the company, the customer does not have a choice if he/she needs to fix the wheel(s).

I like the VR.G2 honestly.
I think that wheel would compliment the RX8's fender lines wonderfully and it's their newest design. I like the somewhat refined look of the Gunmetal finish and would contrast the crystal pearl real nice. Sporty yet classy. The other models will definitely make it look more track oriented.
TE37's only in gangster offsets. GTR Face, stretch tire, roll fender. it's the only way to get the sickest rendition of this model.
I think the RE30 "premium" color makes the wheel look cheaper. Gloss BLack with machined lip just doesn't seem like a Volk to me, simply because i've seen that finish replicated my so many "cheap" manufacturers.
Let me know when you decide and i'm sure i can hook you up.
Ultimately beauty is in the eye of the beholder so something you'll need to look for inside. hehe.

Thx for the offer Rishie and Graham, I I can't make up my mind on the size and offset that I want. I posted in "The Will Fit Thread" seeking for help and suggestion but haven't and response yet.

Rotr: it's a bit creepy to see your Volks in that condition.
Can't wait to see how they turn out.

My project went very well! I'm very satisfied with the shop's work. They were very receptive to what I wanted, and made sure I was happy.
Because the lip had to be stripped and refinished, the "GTS" decals were removed. I'm waiting to get a replacement set from a decal shop. Had them custom made. Won't be exactly the same, but should still look good. I'll post pics as soon as they are on, unless it's a nice weekend then I'll go out and take some pics.
I'm also writing up a DIY for the TPMS solution. So stay tuned for that if you're interested.

So your really gonna spend $4500 + on wheels before tires,,,
Well at least we can say Zumn has good taste in wheels, but 20" on an 8 will actually degrade your performance significantly,,, and if your just goin for show leave those Re30s for some Skyline owner who will actually put them to use...
