those volks do not look right on that beamer, oh and saw one of those last nigth on the freeway, never got a good look but they are not that impresive visually to me, have to wait till i see one in person.

did the preload technique with the RB springs and the ride height in the front is much improved. I think he is still having rubbing issues though.

Well havent had issues for some time, not sure if it is becasue lighter people are in my car or is has been north pole cold in the area lately. Maybe they are juts finally settleing in. The front still rubs but that is no matter what (just on full tilt).

Finally here you go! heh, although the lips are now shot cause someone put degreaser on them... 
you can read the other thread about it. I really need to get some new lips and if at all possible I would like them to be black or the same color as the rest of my wheel.

Sorry about that, I was at work when I posted that, anyway my wheels have since been cleaned improperly(by a shop) and are starting to rust... they also have a wierd hazing on that outer lip... you can read all about it on my other post about my ro-ja's needing help.
What kind of polish do you guys use on your Ray's wheels? I mean they mostly have that same lip... I'm real curious what type of polish is safe, even though my wheels may be irrepairable.

Do not use household cleaners or other detergents to clean your wheels. The best wheel cleaning solution is a mild soap and water solution (whatever you would trust on the paint of your car).
Clean with a soft, un-abrasive cloth. Only on polished wheels can you use aluminum wheel polish. If you use this polish on chrome, painted, or clear coated wheels, you will only scratch the finish.
Do not use steam cleaners in automatic car washes.
Do not use any tire cleaners on your wheels.
Clean wheels when they are cool. Heat can effect the soap, causing it to dry on the wheel and become difficult to rinse off.
Clean one wheel at a time. This also prevents the soap from drying on to the wheel.
After the wheels are clean and dry, apply a coat of soft paste style wax to them. This will create a moisture barrier and help ensure the finish lasts as long as possible.

Thanks for the detailed info I will have to remember this for my next set of wheels
I think these ones are shot... if the seal is gone isn't the metal still ok? couldn't I just polish the hell out of it or something?
You could have it buffed and re-cleared that would be the best for the long run.
Polishing only would last so long and what it does is takes a layer off of the item being worked on.

If it is already messed up you can only make it better right?
You could do a light polish on them. Not sure a good one off the top of my head that would use though.
