The person that I bought the rims from never had centercaps. Spacers and centercaps are the next things that I need.

I lowered the teins all the way to the lowest setting. According to the japanese tein site, the drop is -20mm front/ -15mm rear. That doesnt seem to be the case because my basics at the lowest setting were a little higher than the super streets.

Have they had time to settle in yet?

Did you tighten the lower control arm once weight was put on the tires?

I tightened the lower control arm before loading the coilovers and it actually raised the ride height because of preloading the lower control arm.

After I loosened and tightened with weight on the wheels it lowered it a a couple of inches.

I tightened the upper control arms after I dropped the car to the floor. I couldn't remember if I did that when I had the basics though.

Hahaha, yes this is my third set of volks. I just get tired of the look and still can't decide on what look I'm going for. But as of now, I won't be getting new rims for a while. I have to worry about painting my kit that is coming in soon.

any new pics Lesper? We had to switch out his springs..the S-Techs were too low and he was getting some rubbing. We installed Racing Beat springs...but I think we both were not too pleased with the revised ride height. Have things settled Lesper?

thats for sure, i never thought i would love the s-tech so much but i sure do miss them now. every time i look at those gaps all i see is tire tread, that and my big fat hand can fit under neith the front. i will try to get some more pics of the difference up soon.

Honestly, the Racing Beat springs look about as low as I want to go.

Guess he is still getting rubbing, even with the Racing Beat Springs....but less than when he had the S-techs. Guess it is more a function of the offset than the spring/ride height.

I love the wheels, wish I could put them on my 8. And I love the BMW 3 series as well, but together it does seem a little odd. Don't see many Euro cars with Jap wheels espically Volks.
