Some peple have lightweight wheels and 100 pounds of speakers in their trunks! I'll never understand....
First of all, I'm no street racer, but we all have to agree, it happens sometimes. well, does that make me one? I wouldn't say so, cuz I never try to pick races on public roads... If I was one of those persons that never visits a track, I wouldn't write to you about your wheels in the first place anyway I go to curcuits once in a while for personal amusement...
Apart from that, going the 'light' way on your car can be done in stages. not only the way you describe. for example mine is full equiped inside but still 30-40kg lighter there is a big difference over stock, I've seen that when I compaired my car with friends of mine (others having rx8s or FI 4-wheel-drive monsters) on a straight line. Its amazing how our car can perform without the extra weight, if I tell you you'd probably never believe me. and when the road bents, it gets even better...
your last sentence is so true... I totaly agree, modding your car and adding weight is stupid. but having heavy wheels is much worse than 100 pounds of speakers in the trunk it simply criples the suspension...
its clear that the way we see things differs a lot, it's your car and still looks great. peace

Just noticed this thread. Great looking cars! A sale is pending on my car, so the wheels are up for sale.

I've never actually posted my wheels on this thread, so here are some new pics. Plus, a bump for some great Rays owners and also since this thread fell to the second page.

Thanks guys.
The two colors is almost an exact match. I was very surprised. The only difference is the finish. The wheels has a matte finish so very little luster to it.
The only regret is that I didn't run a more aggressive offset for the rear. I was afraid of rubbing and didn't want to roll the fenders. Turned out it rubbed anyway (at least with passengers) and I'll have to roll'em. If I only knew ahead of time.
