I went with the +43 (i forget) mm on purpose so I can put a beafier tire. Moving the rim further out will cause rubbing if you lower it too much. I have a 1.7 and 1.2 inch drop so I should be able to fit a 285/30 or 275/35.

I currently have a 265/35 and rubbed slightly when I have 800 lbs worth of dudes (no homo) in the car.

I might have misunderstood but putting a spacer will make it more difficult to put a wider tire. You may need to 1) roll fender and 2) shave the plastic sticking out in the rear wheel well. This is where I rubbed with the 800 lbs of dudes (no homo). The rubbing though was ever so slight.

Have you thought about changing the gear ratio in your differential? This is more your issue then grip. The rear diff ratio was meant for low horse power NA not high horse power 13B rew insanity...LOL! You may need a taller (I forget which is correct tall or short) gear. Believe it or not this will make 1st gear usable again and launching will no longer put you first place in a burnout competition.

P.S. Who did your motor swap??? I wish I could put a REW in this thing myself.

It will and that is why I went with a +42. I can always take spacers off if i need more meat under the car but if I picked a rim for its look alone I would have went with a much more aggressive offset.

Yeah, I've thought about swaping out the rear....just to busy to really do anything about it now.

There was a guy with a 18x9 in gold but I cant remember his name. anything under 18x10 will not have the concave face.

I saw the vr that had the 19x9 if thats who you are talking about. I was worried about it not having has much of a concave face. I was hoping the 18x9.5 would look almost as much since i don't really want to spend all the extra money on wider tires and wheels. the 18x9.5 with a 245/40/18 tire is right in my price range.

9.5 will still appear as flat and lack the concave look everyone wants with these rims but more important when I bought mine they didnt have in between sizes if memory serves.

If you want concave you have to get 10 inch + wide. No way around that. Your only other option is to get Enkie RPF1's in 18x9.5 which are a lighter rim (not by much).

An 18" x 9.5" will still stretch a 245/40-18. Ask me how I know. Just go with an 18x10 and stretch your 245's or buck up and get 265/35-18's.

I was planning on running 255s but ill prob end up with 265s. I e-mailed forgestar about local dealers and they haven't responded. I sent a pm to autoRnD which i believe is the new name of the vendor most people bought theirs from(If i remember correctly). Hopefully i can get a response back so i can figure out how to get a set!

It was like pulling teeth to get a response from them when i tried a while back. I hope they've changed how they do business.

If Rishe is still at Auto RnD, he's a stand up guy n' i'm pretty sure he'll get in contact with you soon. IIRC, there's a direct line that you can reach him at on the website...

better to roll your fenders and roll with more rubber than to run w/narrow tires. It's a pretty easy procedure

I meant a 255/40 or possibly 35. Don't really want to run much wider but will if it won't be the best fitment i'll go for a 265. I've never done a fender roll but i looked it up and it looks pretty simple. But if i could get away with a 255 or 265 with just a fender i would be happy. I'm on tein s/koni suspension btw.
