NYC can you throw out some details on the caliper repainting...did you completely disassemble the brake caliper for paint or coating?

I brought calipers to a body shop. They sanded it down by hand primed and painted the out side of the caliper. They tapped up the inside. It was a fairly simple job. I was going to have them powder coated, but the shop said they would have had to disassemble the entire caliper.

I did the same to mine, and once painted I put them in the oven at 150 degrees for about an hour to help adhere the paint to the surface, that was about a year ago and havent had any visible ware or chips.

Your grammar is poor so it was hard to tell what was a statement versus what was a question. Plus this thread is for post pics of BBK's, not discussing the pros and cons of a BBK on the RX-8.

Oh the troubles of being an old man..

A sentence ending with "?" usually means it is a question. To me, what seemed to be a relatively easy question to answer obviously isn't to some. I was not trying to start an argument nor was I trying to prove a point. I had read in a thread that some argue that more rubber to the ground and a high performance break pad can ALMOST stop the car in the same distance as a BBK. Yes I can use correct grammar AND punctuation. Considering this is the internet and not English 099, IDGAF!

Therefore, once again, your argument is invalid.
