18x9 +29 gtr face advan rs in silver metallic.
Beautiful RS's, ghost! I'm looking to get a set of RZs and would love to see more angled pics of your offset so I can get a better picture when ordering mine.

Thinking of going staggered for a slightly more aggressive look but still stumped by the offset choices.

Thanks mate!

I'll take some more pics once I get new tires, suspension and my fender lips rolled. It takes a little work to go aggressive.

I'm not sure how much they weigh. But when I had my Evo I first bought a set of fno1Rc for it in 17" then work emotions in 18". The advans felt a little lighter than the 5zigens and alot lighter than the works. But then again that's just me picking them up.

Oh and they feel lighter than the stock rx8 wheels. Again sorry for not having any exact numbers.

Not sure on the tire size as of yet. Even with a lip roll to lower. The car I'm thinking 275 would be a little too wide for this set up

ok heres a couple of new phone pics

lowered on tanabe sustec pro 5
wheels advan rs 18x9 +29
rear fender lips rolled

i plan on getting some better tires. i don't think i'm gonna go any lower on the profile but on the back i may go a bit wider.(theres still room)
i still need to tweak the suspension but i don't plan on slamming the crap out of it. i don't know how low i can go when i put the body kit on.

Whats the tire size right now? Think you could fit 255/40 ?

I'm debating on getting RG II 18x9 +29

Stockers stretched right now. I'm going to put on 255/40 in the rear and 245/40 for the front. At least that's my plans for now.

Sounds like a fair price to me. I think I paid some where in that ball park.

Thanks jaii this is my second set. I love advans. I like volks as well but only in crazy offsets like +15. and that just dosent fit the rx8 as far as I know.

Now Ghost..my buddy keeps saying if I get these...the moment I hit a pothole..they'll break and I'll crash and all that stuff. Any problems like that since you've had Advan's before?

I think your friend might be exaggerating, there are plenty of ppl running the rgII's just fine. I am actually debating my self between those and the rs.

hmm i've never heard that about advans. i've seen some threads about rotas that have done that. i guess any rim could break with the right size pothole. minor potholes haven't given me any trouble here in indiana though. just stay clear of curbs and watch the road ahead.

what i am saying is they will be just as strong as any other well made rim it just sucks worse to curb them or something of that nature because you pay so much. ya know?

maybe your friend dosen't like advans?

luckily for me i haven't had any damage yet.(knock on wood)

kadavr i love the rs but the one thing i do like way better about the rg is that they have less spokes to clean.(i'm lazy)

You might give jon(Chico) at vivid racing a shout. I think he knows how much they weigh. He also runs advans on his s2k
