isn't the protective film on a lot of polished lips that blue plastic wrap? are you sure that there isn't an extra piece deep in there? thats goooofy, fer sher...

I'm sure it's not a protective film, I scrubed the inside many times when I clean my tires. It's really deep inside the rims and you can't really notice it unless you look deeper.

thanks

I got them from corksport. I couldn't find anyone that had them instock. I have delt wit them before, and they had good customer service (unlike the shop i bought my rims from ) they kept me updated and answered the phone. It took about two months which is nothing compared to 7 months for my rims
It cost about 670$ shipped. If you use them talk to Kelly she sound sexy on the phone . But i must say these bars are awsome taking a 90 degree turn at 40mph feels like 20mph. Of course the tires don't hert either. Here are some more pics of the rear bracket it has eight bolts that hold it in place, and the front has two steel plates that go in the fenders. You could jump off these. Yellow are you getting them? if so put them on yourself, cause if your not careful workin all around the fender you can nick it. put a towel over the fender. But strongy suggest do it yourself. its fun and I have always believed you will care about the car more then them. Every time i work on my friends cars that have used someone else there are bolts, pins, or wires run right over the valve cover
I do everything myself and my best friend paints. I'll be workin on a custom fiberglass box for 1 10" JBL. Any suggestions for a theme, it will be going in the left or right pocket. I just did a D.I.Y. thread on the install, check it out.

Gold on gray looks pretty bad, IMHO. I guess you can always get them powdercoated.

i decided i'll get colored rims that would flush with the car paint... gold sticks out.. i originally wanted the rims to stand out but maybe i don't want my car to be some head turner... anyone interested in the wheels?

Gold wheels on a black or red rx-8 looks dead sexy though. But for some reason it does look odd on the Tit8.

I dont think it even looks good on red, unless its a dark shade of red. Seen it on some custom paint FDs... looks great.

Gold does look better on black or a dark blue.
