Apparently they are gone now Webpage says they are "In Stock", but when you proceed to checkout it tells you they are no longer available...too bad...

Does anyone know what Bridgestone is replacing these with? I love mine and and curious what will be comparable to them when I need to replace my current RE-01R's.

Just ordered mine... SWEET. been waiting to get a set of these anyway and my stupid stupid stupid yokohamas are nearly dead... perfect!

and being replaced with RE11, which'll probably be better but also cost 1200-1400 for a set, while my RE01Rs just cost me 370$ shipped. ftw.

How do these compare to the stock Dunlop 8090s? Turn in repsonse, dry traction, wet traction, sidewall flex, etc.?

I know you can't really compare anything to the S-03 Pole Positions (which basically don't exist anymore) but is the performance of these tires even on the same level as the S-03s? Or is it a big drop in corneringing and turn in with these RE01rs?

probably better than the S-o2 Pole Positions. A little more dry grip. I had the S-o2's, and did not feel like they were all that great of a tire...and I have been through a ton of tires during almost 5 years of ownership.

These would be a great tire for the novice in AutoX, and even open road course tracking. And a great price too. Too bad I am not in the market.

I have these tires on my car in the summer. Phenominal grip and a progressive slide once you overstep the limits of them, unlike the stock dunlops which once they lose grip, you're just about done for. Much more mechanical grip than stock as well.

the stock Dunlop's can't really be compared to these tires. It would make more sense to try to compare these to An Azenis, or Yoko Advan.

Might anyone have pictures comparing re01r 225 and 245 width on the stock rim? I'm just curious as to see the actual width difference on the wheel.

As of this morning both the 225's and 245's will be available March 8th. This was from another rep whose info I already had. I ordered a set of 225's for $364.24 shipped.

Can't beat this deal on these tires, and for those asking about grip on these tires these were THE tires for ST classes at SCCA Nationals in '08. I just ordered me up some!

It is unfortunate that these are UTQG 180 (not allowed for stock class) or else I would have dropped my backordered Azenis immediately. I am still kicking myself for not going for the S-03 deal before.
