first off. please be nice.

i have a 2004 rx8 6MT with about 150000km on it and its time for me to change my pads and rotors. my rotors have been machined before and my pads are starting to fade.

since i live in toronto, ive ben quoted $500 flat for 4 drilled and slotted rotors along with the pads (hawk hps) for all 4 tires. this is the price just for parts. not install

im not looking for anything track ready, just something that is functional, but looks nice through my rims.

my question is:

2) is there a better package deal? anymore options anyone is aware off?

you get what you pay for...

$500 sounds reasonable for pads and rotors. my advice would be to get Hawk pads and then get rotors from rotorpros.

There are plenty of vendors on this site that can help you out Adam at THMotorsport will get you a good deal. He got me some good brakes similar to the Hawk but much cheaper. He races his Rx8 and is currently building a 20B engine so he knows his stuff.

I have those exact rotors and pad kit from 88 rotors. Went right in with stock calipers and couldn't be happier.
