BFG g-force sport
My father works at Michelin (the owner of BFG) and is able to get the G-Force Sport tires for very cheap. I was thinking about the Michelin PS2, but even after the discounts he can get me, they would still be double the price of the G-Force Sport. Anyone know anything about these tires? From what I was reading on tirerack, they provide very good performance for the money. Also, the size that would be closest to my OEMs are 235/40/18, will that fit on the 8. How would that change in size affect the car's performance/handling?
I was also thinking about the KDW2's but heard they are very loud.

Do a search and you will find my review of these tires, which for the most part I like them. The size you will probably want and what most are putting on their cars are 245/40/18

Thanks, I read your write up. They look to be what I'm looking for. I want good performance but I don't go to the track or autocross, nor do I have a lot of money to burn. These look like the best bang for the buck along with the Kuhmo's I've read about. How does the wider size effect the performance compared to the OEM size?

These tires offer more grip being wider, but since they are on the stock rims the turn in is slightly slower to respond but unless you are really driving them hard you won't notice. I like them a whole lot better than the stock Bridgestones.
