Looking for better handling on a cheaper budget. Was going to go with the adjustable tokico dspecs or whatever they are, with tein stechs. Will these increase handling dramatically versus new stock? Any evidence to support opinion? Maybe anyone done skid pad runs or something?

Evidence of what? And what do you even mean by "increase handling dramatically"? That makes no sense at all. Are you asking if your car will handle better with new D spec shocks and new S tech springs over a 10 year old stock shock and springs with over 160,000 miles on them? If you want better handling you can start by ditching the heavy *** chrome 19's.

i think suspension its one of the most important things on the rx so dont go cheap you need to replace shocks-springs for a good set of coilovers i have blisteins and man theyre more expensives but you gunna felt in love (actualy i have a custon sarx coilovers setup) sways bars and a good set of good wheels tires will help tho =)

Yeah he likes busting ***** doesn't bother me, but actually your wrong about my wheels and tires they haven't even squeaked around a corner since I got them. Before it would squeak on on ramps and stuff. They are wide and grip nice, but to each their own. Just wish people would take their d**k out their @sses every once in a while, but he always seems to be grumpy. Maybe he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed every morning or alone or maybe empty inside. But thanks for the good advice. Oh and by the way my car has 180,000, but doesn't mean the suspension is that old. If you can't say anything nice then shut the hell up!! I hope his car blows up or he totals it and gets outta here. If you don't like the questions then stay off the forum, or better yet don't answer. He's just trolling....

You're asking the equivalent of what's the healthiest side order at McDonald's. those wheels are a bad step in the wrong direction. You ask for skid pad results after suspension mods but then judge tire grip on squeakiness?

Squeak, squeal, chirp, spin, all the same in my book. Not saying it won't lose traction, just haven't on the occasional on ramp rides that they used to lose traction in.

NASCAR wheels are heavy, supply superior traction, and are wide. 10 inches wide to be exact, so how do heavy wheels hurt me? But whatever, I'm done with this forum of trollers, I will just sit back and enjoy the posts of everyone like I usually do, and smile!

Because they have 800 ft lbs of tq going around a circle at 210 mph.

You have 120 ft lbs of tq and top speed of 150 on a downhill slope with a 50 mph gust of wind. Larger tires will only slow you down.

There have been zero professionally tracked and monitored skid pad tests on any aftermarket suspension, our cars are worth $5000 at best no one is going to sink 200k of R&D into it.

If you want to improve your handling search, there's a million threads out there.

You need to pick a direction to go in, track, street, drift, auto-X. Once you picked a direction search the subforums that fits that.

Its fairly simple.

Well , mine goes 156, with hardly any wind on a level road, but anyway, I thought maybe like people do dynos, maybe a select few have testing on suspension.
