i would love to put RS's on my RX-8 but i'd only buy a legit set and a legit aggressive wide 18" set will make me very very poor.

originals are lotss of £££ over here, if i were in that price bracket id definitely be getting some ccw classics. are they really the wrong sort of wheel for the car? ive only ever seen them executed well, that including various s2000's, imprezas and silvia s15's. ch's are very high up on the list for me too but its difficult to get reps in good sizes ideally 9j/9.5j et25-30. the 8j or 8.5j just dont have enough concave.

I like how BBS look a lot, Id rock them on an 8 but I cannot find any good sized replicas either. Update us if you find a decent size replica, I know I would be interested.

thats always the ideal thing to do. BBS wheels aren't cheap and frankly are not styled towards the rx8 (this is my opinion) but if you want to spend a couple thousand on wheels for replicas then by all means, have at it

a couple thousand for replicas? youd have to be a moron to do that, £400-£600 for reps. ive seen that velocity red on lm's before and it looks amazing, possibly one of the best ive seen, but most lm reps are bmw or vw fitment, or 19" which would be a no go for me.

heres a quick chop i did

wheeldude.com has the lm reps they will make them for our bolt pattern but yes you will have to ship and get tires so about 2k would be a good estimate in my opinion. legitimate lm's are about 750 to 1000 a wheel. I would say 2k is a damn good deal

BBS LM-R would look great on the 8. The old style BBS wheels do not look good to me.

well i wouldnt be getting them from the u.s and postage is usually free where i live, i know how much legitimate lm's are, all of that being irrelevant to the original post. besides costs in the u.s versus the u.k are completely different. i presume it hasnt been done as of yet judging by reponses. i dont spend enough time on the track to justify getting real bbs's yes reps crack/bend/explode but its a risk worth taking when the fakes are 1/4 the cost.

If you do not care about rolling replicas then do not use the wheel cap that says BBS.

ESM 004 wheel about $250 USD per...

LM's or RS'? Personally, I think the RS is a bit too dated for the RX8 platform, opinions always differ.

I wouldn't say the replicas would be in the $2000 range, generally tire pricing isn't factored into the cost of wheels.

This is the closest I know of (LM's though, not RS, haha):

+1 on being a bit dated.

Good looking wheel but not for the 8 imo.

I do not have the picture saved but I remember the car so it is easy to search for it. IMO it is still one of the best looking 8s.

yeah its probably something to do with just coming from german cars where rs's were the t1ts! lm's will always be a favorite of mine i just wanted to see if rs's have been done before. id be rocking no center caps in rep form, ive never been a fan of shoddy looking random name brand caps

The wheels in the op look like they belong on a mk2 gti. I personally wouldn't put them on a 8
