ASA wheels???

i've been in the market for some new wheels and it seems that every time i find a wheel i like it takes a few months to get them. so i saw the asa jh8 wheels on tirerack and was wondering if anyone on here has had any experiences with asa and their products. these are not my first choice in wheels but i really don't want to wait 3 months for wheels. thanks a bunch and any pics would be nice.

Look in the 'aftermarket wheels' thread, there are a few pics of wheels LIKE these but i doubt they are the ASA wheels, but very similar looking

ASA wheels are manufactured in Korea by Hankook. Many of their styles are licensed by BBS, which would suggest their quality is up to the standards of one of the best wheel companies in the world.

I have installed several sets. Though they are not the lightest wheels out there, they are round and well-balanced. They're well-designed for correct tire installation (it's amazing how many aftermarket wheels get that wrong - duh). The finish quality and detailing seemed excellent, especially for the price.

Overall, I don't consider them to be a performance option due to their weight (compare the JH8 at 23.0 lb. to the Enkei 18x9.5 at ~16 lb), but they are a great value choice for style and quality, and I could count on them them to be a reliable, trouble-free wheel that would make a happy customer. I would say they are on par with the standards set by typical German cast one-piece wheels, and generally cost less.

So if you like the style and aren't a wheel weight geek, they should be a good product.

There are some people running the ASA wheels on their Lexus SC's and seem pleased with the quality and price.

Which wheels are you considering?
