Aragosta Suspensions Installed

Guys,

I ordered a set of Aragosta suspensions from Japan (waited more than a month). These set coilovers are really nice and so I have to show it to all. :p

Though they are quite costly (about 2.5k USD) but they are damm good, one of the best I have ever used, the height is easliy adjustable and the damping for front & back is set by click the suspension (12 clicks). Welcome any comments on the suspension system. Cheers.

Will soon post picture of the car with the suspension on.

Btw, here is the link to the company.

Look nice - are they Aluminum bodies? If so that would help reduce unsprung weight, which is always good. They also look like they give independent control over ride height & spring pre-load, also good.

I'm curious - why did you choose these over Tein or JIC?

I wrote a thread about Aragosta suspension systems. They're really nice, and you get JDM points for owning them. Personally, I wouldn't get them. There aren't many reviews on them.

These are fully aluminum body, with pillow ball upper mount (progressive springs), mono tube damper with locktype adjuster.

Here is another link.

I used Tein & Koni before they are no match to these, if I am not wrong Aragosta are one of the best suspension in the market. Cheers.

Thanks BIU, I am from the Far East Asia so JDM parts are more easily available. BTW, takashi is one of the first to own the Fujistubo, nice exhaust note (not too loud) and relatively good gain esp. torque.

I used Borla before on my ex-car, they are equally good too but much louder I guess.

How about the ride? aragosta coilovers had differnet spring rate compared with others:
Aragosta : F:11kg R:4kg
Mazdaspeed : F:5kg R:3.4kg
Is it very bumpy during street ride?

How come I got the credit? Thanks man. And yes Borla should be louder. Fuji is not loud at all.

I love your suspension - they are very very nice.

Me is lazy and want on board adjustment. So i am saving for Tein Flex.

From the reading, Aragosta is more track orientated. Me like. My wife and baby doesn't.

Mazdaspeed & Tein is one of the lightest coilover you can get (front + back less than 10kg).

The ride is excellent, not very bumpy or hard (even I set to the hardest). I am now on medium setting and the car can take corner with ease and without much body roll. The feeling is different compare to other suspension I've tried so far, I have much confidence with my car.

Thanks Taka, I used the TEIN Type CS on my Accord EuroR with EDFC and it is quite good, I agreed the control of the damping on the fly is really a good. Btw, I love my Fujitsubo too, never regret at all ... good quality and nice exhuast note. Cheers.
