Anybody Know Of Spacers For Our Car ?

My friend was taking a look at my car today, and he mentioned that if I pushed the wheels out a bit with spacers they would fill up the wheel well better. On taking a look, I agree. If the wheels were pushed out about a .5"-1" it would probably look nicer. Anybody know where to get spacers for our cars ?

Sure, it would change the appearance of the car while it's standing still. Did your friend also offer his analysis of how changing the offset by such a huge amount would affect handling, ride, wheel bearing and suspension bushing life, etc?

Mazda specified 50mm offset for a whole bunch of damn good reasons, and engineered the car around that spec. I'd be extremely reluctant to screw with that solely for cosmetic reasons while the car is at a standstill... 0.5" isn't bad, that takes the offset down to 38mm - but 1" would be ridiculous. Why not just buy new wheels that are lighter with the lower offset? Then you get performance benefits along with your desired cosmetic benefit.

Regards,
Gordon

I got a pair of 5mm spacers that I'm not using. $50 if you want them.
