Dear all, my birthday is coming up, and my friend is buying me an aftermarket rotor for my car becuase i feel some vibrations when the car get hot (recently it's been 100 degree here... damn summer) but for some reason i don't see that many different type. Call Racing Beat and ask them about their lightened rotors. www.racingbeat.com

I had good luck with racingbrake 1-piece slotted + Hawk HPS pads. There is less dust, and the surface of the discs doesn't seem to get rusty for some reason. Also the pedal feel is better, it's more linear and predictable. The factory pads are super grabby at first but then not so much as you push down.

If you do the job yourself, I would highly recommend that you have a spare set of the cheap little rotor screws beforehand. Chances are, your dealer will have to order them. And/or have an impact screwdriver, and a drill/tap set just in case. They are stuck pretty good and won't come out without a fight.
