Another Black 8 w/ New Rims

This is the 3rd or fourth post I've seen where a black 8 gets new wheels this week....well here's mine. It took forever to find a set of wheels I liked. I am really happy w/ the look and they feel great on the car.

HP EVO 18's in silver....8's in front, 9's in back.....BF G-force KDW2 rubber...

TXRX has a similar setup on his titanium grey...I liked the look of his so much, I went out and picked up a set....so thanks, TXRX

***edit***

offset is 38mm..there is clearance and they stick out just enough...pics taken in front of new development for rich people. I wanted to drive onto that grass, but thought that would be too much. :p

Love the look. I have always liked mesh rims. I am trying to decide between the evos and the Konig Imagine's.

Thanks for the pics.

Thanks guys...I took a ride a while a go...and it is pretty sweet. I kept on turning around to look at it (like always, but a bit more) when I was walking away....

Yes...I have eibach springs in there. Like some others, I would like the front to come down a bit more asthetically, but it's acceptable. The 'normal' ride quality is fine, but you feel the car give/sway a bit less turning in, then wanna rebound faster on exit.

:D TPMS DOES fit on these :D

Looks good man, I just asked someone to photochop those onto a black 8 the other night, I guess that won't be neccesary now.

I like the stockers better, but I'm not a fan or mesh wheels nor lighter colored wheels on a black car. Glad you found something you like though :D

Love the look. Third pic looks hot.

A couple tint questions if you don't mind. What % tint all-around and how long is the tint on the windshield(And what's the limit for FL)? Haven't been here too long and am about to get mine tinted soon. TIA

IMO, those would look good on any color. Looks really great with the drop...classy. I'm actually thinking (still) about 5Zigen Heidfelds.

Tint is just a shade darker than legal in FL. Front band is also a bit longer than legal in FL. I have had much darker tint on other cars, but have had no probs (yet). Tint is necessary in Florida, so get it as dark as you can. Pay cash, no receipt, and get it dark.

Wheelguyz.com sold me the set of wheels. They were fast & friendly and knew their sh*t. Tire Rack guys helped out with the tires. I don't notice the noise others have complained about.

I love the big fat lip too!
