Depending on the installation it may not be mandatory.
I would recommend it based on the lower ride height, maximizing handling and as a precaution.

highly highly recommended. after you spend $700 in aftermarket suspension parts on a sports car that originally cost $30,000 I don't see why you wouldn't spend the $80 to get the car appropriately aligned.

If the vertical height changes at all it will change the toe......you don't want to drive with incorrect toe...it will eat tires like there is no tomorrow

Really bad and you can core a tire in less than 200 miles.....

Alignments are cheap.....tires are more expensive

with tokico d spec and tein s tech, my alignment was -2 degrees +/- 0.5 camber all around, slight toe in front, slight toe in back.

i had the tech set the toe to zero up front since the alignment was free with my purchase of tires. in my opinion, experience, and vehicle, it was NOT necessary, but i would have done the same alignment even if i had to pay.

i believe the koni's set the car a bit lower than the tokico, so your post install alignment would likely be more 'askew' than mine. good luck, i'd recommend doing it just in case your alignment is truly bad so you dont burn up tires.

fyi, the spelling is alignment haha

Like everyone else said, it is recommended. If you are spending money on changing up your suspension, you might as well not half *** it. A proper alignment makes the difference between a lowered car that drives like *** vs a lowered car that rides like it was intended.
