Aggressive Wheel Fitment Thread
Lol, people so critical these days... And I give him even more points for throwing the '09 tails on a v1.
The car's not perfect by any means but I'm sure all of us own cars that could be nit picked to hell. Unless it was an atrocious (failed) attempt I don't see whats so bad about the car. The kit has good fitment, paint looks good, (of course all from this angle) the integrated fog is nice for how its integrated, I personally don't like the fogs on anyone's car that I have seen to date, but its such a minor piece that its hardly a reason to dis like a car. The guy answered the early questions about integrating '09 v2 parts and do so in a way that it went all together rather cleanly and looks quite OEM. I agree the wheel fitment isn't aggressive enough to be in this thread but he can do what many have done and simply add spacers and totally change the look of the car.
Is it the end all RX8, no, but does the car suck compared to a lot of others I have seen, not hardly. Good grief..

DCups FD is pretty sweet, the owner is either on here or on 7club (or both), he's from Australia :-D
My comment wasn't geared specifically about that car other than using it as an example... Nor was I singling 2 people out for their comments. Just something I noticed in the thread, but its kind of a site wide epidemic. lol
Even though I'm not into stretched tires, if it is done right, I have to admit the look is hot. D Cups FD is the best example out there. From what I've read the car is sold ($50k USD) and has new wheels.

I love the first set of wheels with the custom paint (ssr type c bronze) as well. The time attack style wheels take away from lines of the car. They make your eyes focus on them vs. the entire car.

Bye bye flushness!
Hello rubber!
Picking up some 275's, had to do a preliminary quick shoot just after getting them though - pictured with 245/40. Shame on me for not cleaning them first

And a couple quick goodbye shots
