When I read an article a couple years ago on the car, I remember reading that they swapped out the motor.....I could be wrong tho. I just remember being disappointed because of that in a way.

The Panspeed RX8 used to have a tuned Renesis. It now uses a Bridgeport 13B-REW motor w/ Renesis rotors if I remember correctly.

all my searching turns up that it is running a peripheral port 13b (non renesis) w/ renesis internals. can't find anything about it ever running a renesis

i mean honestly, is there anyone here or anywhere that's running a FAST NA renesis? it seems mazda has squeezed all it could out of it from the start (minus the smog stuff which can net you ~10-20 tops)

Want polished RPF1...

The Enkeis are way played, but polished is rare enough to still look fresh - even though it looks good, don't want black rims on my Grey car; too drab!

Now... where to find some polished rims, and how to get them to sit nice with my spring-drop setup. I iz 2 poor 4 coilovers

Too poor for coilovers? There are some JIC for 500 in the FS forum.

Yeah, like I said - too poor for coilovers. Exhaust is my priority right now, and I'm "cheaping out" with a TurboXS (I do like the sound, it's not just a budget decision). Rims come after that. I've already got H&R springs, and I'm happy with the height and can't go much lower anyway, so I just need to spec out the proper size and offset rims to work with my setup.

I don't get why people think that S is something special. Doesn't even look that good.

I was just quoting the picture for the rims, but I do think the whole car looks good - except for the tiny rear tires.

*Edit* - that red RX-8 is hawt.

Yo that red Rmagic Rx8 hands down one of the nicest I've ever seen. I've always loved that car. I would've bought that bumper if the quilty of the bumper would have been better. I at least bottom out once a week. i need to have oem type strength material lol.

Man I just found out my rims are delayed until mid December shipment now...ugh! My car has been sitting on jack stands in the garage now for a month since my Grams sold soooo much faster than I anticipated.

I miss driving her haha

screw that, I'd rather have the gnarly widebody/fender flare action, those rear wheels look about 10 ft wide in person
