RJ De Vera is not affiliated with ROTA, he is affiliated with RO_JA. The owner of ROTA is Michael Rojas. Both are of Filipino descent and both started wheel companies, those are the only things related between the two guys that I can think of. I have been following RJ De Vera for close to 20 years since my old Honda days and his first magazine featured Integra back in the late 90's. He was with Superstreet Magazine for a long time before creating RO_JA and he also designed and built the Boost Mobile RX-8 back in the day and many other cars as well. IIRC, RO_JA wheels were/are built by Rays and are somewhat pricey.

Regarding the wheels, I believe they're Miro Type 112 rather than the AG's.
