Lol sure, you can get forged rim (barrel/hoop) for under $2,000 but not an actual forged wheel :P

Wow been gone a while. 600cc are kiddie bikes? LMAO. Clearly you don't ride 9k.

Look race classes. They even ride 250cc.

Yeah and people race scooters too, what's your point? And no, I don't ride a bike anymore, I have kids.

Bikes seem like fun, I just knew too many people that have died on them. I won't even bother risking it.
Props to anyone who tracks a bike, but I doubt Damn does.

I do. **** is expensive, but I do. Haven't had the chance this summer because I'm leaving to Asia but I do attend track days, sir.

EDIT: The R6 has also been in and out of the shop a lot lately, having a lot of electrical issues and its quite annoying.

Depends what you mean by racing lol. Mainly time trails and such.
Honestly I feel safer on the track than I do on the street.

That's cool, it's more that I can say for my self, people around here don't watch for motorcycles, it's why I won't bother getting one.
Track probably is safer, not much traffic if any, no road debris, riding surface is probably a lot smoother.

Modern 600cc bikes are plenty fast. In terms of straight line performance stock 600RRs have broken 10sec 1/4mi times with a seasoned rider. Take into consideration rider weight as well.
A 250lb "Guy" sitting behind the computer eating cheetos all day probably is going to experience a "kiddie-like" ride.

Liter bikes shine above 100mph, which is stupid to be going over that on the street. I've seen plenty of 600s hang with the liter bikes till they break 100mph.

Single biggest jump in performance for myself was loosing 30lbs in between riding seasons and my bike felt completely different.

What makes a 600cc kiddie like again?

15. We do not have a street racing or "kills" forum on this site, and threads or posts about street racing will not be tolerated. These types of posts inevitably turn into flamewars, which nobody wins. Also, any forum member caught trolling and intentionally instigating a flame war on any other auto enthusiast forum gets an immediate 1-week ban; protesting this action results in a permanent ban.

HONDA CBR 600RR 10:87 126 MPH QUARTER MILE PASS US 41 MORORRO IN. - YouTube

Thank you for enlightening me, I had no idea a 600cc bike was so fast. Do you write for Sport Rider magazine? You should because you are so knowledgeable on the subject, it really blows me away.
