What do you guys think of the Advan RG? I want to buy them in 18 x 9 up front, and 18 x 10 in the rear, with a 235/40 front, and a 265/35 rear tire. What kind of front and rear offset am I looking at?

 

they'll look good on the 8...but i wouldnt get it for myself =P

 

Never mind. The RG doesn't come in an 18 x 10 size. The largest is 18 x 9.5. Maybe I could size the rear tire in a 255/35?

 

Bump. What about this wheel, the ADVAN SA3R Version 2? The design of this wheel is classic: three spokes, and it's not too blingy, or ricey. It's just as cool as the SSR Mesh wheels.



For some reason, these wheels come in an 18 x 10 size, but the offset is 35. However, I'm sure you can get a custom offset that will fit the RX-8. Screw TPMS.

I'm hoping for this wheel in gold of course. :D

I have this fetish for odd exterior parts. From BN Sports, to the RE-Amemiya Super G8 bodykit, SSR Mesh wheels, and the like, I'm going to have one freaky RX-8 when I'm done.

 

maybe wait for the prototype Advan RG II's to make it into regular production & see if they come in 10in width???

BTW: RG II's look very hot & similar to the regular RGs.

ok... I can't find the pics online but it's in the August issue of Super/Stupid street.

They're on the HKS Lancer Evo 8. It's the Tsukuba Time Attack car. Carbon fiber body & the works.
