Adjsuting camber at home?
Hey,
I just put 17x9s on my car with 275/40 Azenis for autocrossing. They rub on the arch in the rear, and somebody suggested I try more negative camber in the rear to see if it helps. I expect it will, but I don't think it'll eliminate the rubbing completely.
I'm not looking to do my own alignments at home just yet; I don't have the proper equipment. But I would like to try adjusting the camber temporarily, to see if it helps, and then get a proper alignment.
I haven't even looked into it, and I'm sure I could figure it out, but if somebody could point me in the right direction that'd be a time saver.
Short version: what can I adjust in the rear to increase the negative camber?
Thanks.
Edit: Wow, look. My first post on this site and I make a typo in the title. Go me.

Okay, an update. It's actually really easy to do. The two lower arms have eccentric bolts on the inboard ends. Loosen the nuts, turn the bolts.
I have no idea what kind of camber the car has on it now. It's a lot. I can also assume that the adjustment messed with my toe. I marked the parts so I can adjust them back, but that's no guarantee that it's right. I'll get the car aligned before I put any significant mileage on it; I just wanted to give this a shot.
No, it did not help my rubbing problem. The rears still hit the arches very easily. One of them was bent out by a quarter of an inch where the tire hits, so these are coming off before I do any significant damage to the car.

They'll work eventually; I just need to make a little room first.
I set the rear links back where I found them. The car had noticeably lost grip in the rear with that much negative camber. I had hoped to have some time to take the car out and test adjustments in between making them, but rain was coming. My SVX is taking up my garage, waiting for me to install the new water pump that's sitting on the bench. :p
