Hi guys,
Here's my 2010 R3 with H&R 25mm spacers and H&R Springs for a 1 inch drop: Some light rubbing in the rear when I have two people in the car with a full gas tank but nothing a light roll wont fix. |
9k, the black rx8 you posted above (a local), do you know what aero kit he has on his car?
|

Eww, I guess I should have checked the pic from my computer and not my phone.
Hmm, I guess Shine is the only one |
Btw, have had this setup for 1 year now. Minor rub marks on the wheel well and the loss of my front sway bar links (knew would happen) are the only issues.
I have had friends tell me when they see stock setups that they look awkward after being used to mine. "How it should be from factory" |

Huh? I'm confused:scratchhe
I couldn't see the picture very well on my phone. I'm in the market for an aero kit and thought this was one I haven't seen before. Unfortunately, it was the veilside kit which, in my opinion, has an ugly front lip and is also priced high. For the record it still looks better than stock |
Don't mean to thread jack but I got my spacers for sale if anyone wants their car to look like this. Check out my thread! :)

Hi there 8 lovers, my husband is an8 owner and i have some questions for you. His birthday is coming up and i have been thinking of helping him get his car to where he wants it. I recall several conversations we have had in which he lists all the things he needs to do to his car. Ima go for what i hope is an easy one. Can anyone tell me anything and everything about wheel spacers? All i know is he wants them and once explained them to me. I do not however know if they come in i guess different sizes or anything nor do i know where to look for them? Any and all help would be much appreciated! All i know is what year his car is but i can ask questions if you need to know anything else. So help a girl out?

what wheels does he have (offset and width if not stock)? what suspension mods does he have, ie how much lower than stock is he? what size tires does he have? then we can tell you what spacers

There's too much opportunity to go wrong here. Get him something with less margin for error, and can be easily returned if needed.
|
Um it has tein s techs and what he says are stock rims?
|
Well that's 25mm/1 inch spacer territory. I'm sure someone will be helpful and show you some hubcentric/wheelcentric spacers from ebay
|
ok thanks :)

You have a great looking wheel setup with the stock wheels and spacers. Since I haven't used them in the past, I wanted to see if these spacers would be the right fit:
These will be going on a RX8 2005 GT with S-Techs. brand: sparco bolt: 5x114.3 size: 20mm (just want to make sure that I don't get any rear tire rub in the fender well) BORE: 67mm (this is .1mm smaller than what you spec'd in your note of 67.1mm) I just want to make sure that they will actually fit correctly. If you can let me know, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

So I finally got around to installing my spacers and I like them. Here are some pics. I will be removing them for track days and cruises but the car rides great with the spacers and handles great too. The only ill effects are that if I take an incline quickly I rub a little in the rear for a split second but that is easily fixed and I will keep and eye on it.
The Spacers you need are: 25mm (or whatever thickness you prefer), 5x114.3 bolt pattern, and a minimum bore of 67.1 |
I would clarify with Sparco because the exact center bore of the RX-8 wheel is 67.1. Are these spacers hubcentric? If not it won't matter.

Here is the site just as an FYI. Sparco 20mm spacers I can look for some other brands instead just to be more confident on fit. Thanks again. |
