20mm vs 35mm offset

20mm vs 35mm offset
I did my research and I think I do have basic idea of offset but I still dont quite get it of how it influance looks and stance.... Also Im trying to get new wheels and I keep seeing they're either in +20mm offset or +35mm offset... How are they diffrent in looks and fit? Please help me understand that concept.
You're missing a lot of variables. You didn't even mention how wide the wheels are.
If you're concerned about fitment - wheel width is very important. 18x8 +20 offsets not gonna fit like 18x10 +20 offset...not to mention the situation with tire sizes.
Another thing to consider is the Make n' Model of the wheel you're looking at. Different wheel companies abide by different rules. Some times the face of the rim will change according to the offset you choose...sometimes they don't. With my wheels the offset has nothing to do with the concavity of it. Then you also have to factor in if your wheels are 1, 2 or 3 piece wheels...because depending on the brand or model you choose you might also have an option of a different face or lip size/style depending on the offset.
Lots to consider and much homework to do.

that'll be the safest route. (this is assuming that you are looking to stay conservative with your overall stance/look).
You're gonna have to research how/if the offset affects the face of the wheel though...iirc, XXR's offsets are contingent to the face of the wheel.
