It will make your offset 25mm. That's gonna put the wheel way out. Might have to roll the fender. Depends on the tire size too.

It will work and look good -- close to being flush

Dunno if you push the car at all but the driving characteristics will change quite a bit from widening the track that much with an 8" wheel. Pushing them out that far will probably make the car more tail happy at the limit (which could be a bad thing for the inexperienced driver). The rear of our cars are pretty sensative to adjustments.

I know this is an old one but, this thread was one that I read to help me with my decision of going with 25mm with complete oem setup, including oem wheels. This is the kind of info that confuses a lot of us because it may come from people that don't have tried things on their own or haven't had a direct experience with the issue that is brought to the attention.

This is another reason why sometimes it's impossible to keep track of all the opinions and why sometimes some people prefered to start a new thread looking for specific info and get hostile responses from members.

If you are complete oem with 25mm...no fender rolling, no issues with rubbing, not any modification, complete bolt-on, no issue with suspension dynamics if you take the car and alignm it properly and... it is as close to flush I think you can get with oem set-up.

You can see my pics in this https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...51#post4132851

You can do that but it will not get any noticeable flush and would have to change the studs. Mine is a complete oem setup and no problem with 25mm. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...51#post4132851
