2-piece rotors, lighter calipers, and better performance

I have a dedicated track 06 that needs new rotors all the way around. I'd like to go with 2-piece rotors and get new calipers to go with and take care of everything all at once. Tried going with Gyrodisc but need to make a bulk order to buy them. Goal is to reduce weight both in rotor and caliper. I understand this is expensive, but for sake of argument, let's leave price out of this.

I've found ONLY RacingBrake to buy from but have heard a lot of negatives about their metals and overall performance from RX-8 owners. Many of which can be found on this site. But I've heard a lot of positive, too. But never with an RX-8.

They claim to fit OEM but almost everyone said their calipers didn't fit the rotors properly and had to shave some parts down a bit. Not a huge deal, but details to note. I also spoke to them and had a hard time understanding due to a large language barrier, but I believe he said they are not track rotors and they don't fit OEM caliper parts AND said their rotors are quite unfriendly with many racing pads out there. The guy seemed to tell me over the phone the EXACT OPPOSITE of what their website says. Again, there was a huge language barrier so I may have misunderstood.

Can I get some direct input on whether or not you support them and their brakes? What pads do you use? How much of what kind of driving you do? Better or worse than OEM? Would you buy them again? Etc.

My alternative is to just go with some sport OEM's and rebuild my front calipers. I was ultimately hoping for a performance gain, though.

Any help would be appreciated.

I know that it is not a 2 piece set up but PowerStop has a quality product.

Actually, those are the calipers I was gonna get if I ended up sticking with single piece rotors. Thanks for the +1 on that :D

I have nothing but good things to say about the RacingBrake rotors that I have had on my car

They have worn unbelievably well....not cracked like most of the others I have tried...

The only issue I have heard is that they do not like some brands of brake pads

I have used a few different types of Hawk motorsports pads..the HT10 ahd 60 Series and have loved them

Brian Goodwin at Good-Win-Racing seems to like them fine on the RX-8. I was planning on going with their OEM-size, two-piece rotors when the time comes.
