19" works fine.

245/35/19 tires is actually slightly SMALLER than the stock 18" rims and tires.

remember though, a greater overall diameter will decrease street mpg, increase highway mpg, and slightly degrade acceleration.

I've been driving 19" rims for 2 years. The only problem I've had are with potholes. The low profile tires don't offer much insulation for the rims. Last year I accidently hit a really deep pothole at high speed and it bent my rim slightly out of shape.

19's here and I've never had problems. Only thing is tires are more expensive to replace.

I didn't notice much of a change either, but like I said earlier, the rims got bigger, but the tires got smaller, so it's not like I had 1" larger wheels on the car.

With the stock tires already low profile, I think choice in tire had more to do with the overall feel of the change than the rim size.

So what is a good offset and tire combo to fill out the fenders. I don't know of anyone who can roll the fenders so that is out of the question. Also planning on using Teins basic coilover system

you will to stay above +40 (maybe mid 40s) if your on 19x9.5. that or stretch a tire.

running 19s alone (even all around) will not make too much of a difference.r unning a staggered set up will make a difference though.

I found a thread stating that 19x9.5 @+44mm would be fine it just depends on how tall a tire you use but it didn't give any suggestions.
