I made it work.

-2.4* camber front
-2.6* camber rear

Rolling rears tomorrow to see if that eliminates rubbing... right now it's undriveable over small bumps... if rolling doesn't work then we're pulling.

That's the plan...

S-techs just don't cut it... I've never liked them... they're softer than stock... blah.

Looking into coil-overs in the next couple of months... I'll probably need tires first though.

5Zigen fn01r-C 18x9.5 +35 with a 15MM Ichiba spacer...

I will post more pics when I take them tomorrow.

Rolled rears and that got rid of the major rubbing... rubs a bit on the front corner of the plastic cover that attaches to the rear bumper (where the bumper and fender meet... the little corner there)... eventually it will wear through it and I'll be good... front rubs on rear of fender liner at 80%-100% turn either direction... will be eliminated by removing and modifying liners...

Once I get coilovers with stiffer springs and struts I will definitely have nothing to worry about with this setup... also the Z1 runs really wide... I'm going to be switching to either Goodyear Eagle GT or Dunlop Sport Signatures for these wheels pretty soon here (Z1s are at 3/32 and will need to be changed within the next 1000 miles or so, especially with the aggressive camber I'm running).

I am very pleased with the results. Can't wait for my new wheel setup!!!

18x10 +35

That's hardly any stretch...

This is nice stretch: 235/40R18 on an 18x9.5 +35

and THIS is a lot of stretch: 255/35R18 on an 11.5

Or... 225/40R18 on a 10 and 265/35R18 on a 12

I have decided that I'm never going to track my car (at least not any time soon)... so I've gone back to stretch... pics later.

Why not just get the +40ish offsets and have them perfect...with no BS

I don't get trying to make the wrong offset fit with the wrong tire size is a good thing

Maybe I'm too old and practical

^ +1 It doesn't look good, it just looks like they don't fit. Take off the spacers and put a correctly fitting 265 width tire on there. Leave the tire stretching and improper offsets to the VW crowd.
