okay soo my 8 wont go past 6500 rpms and it sounds like it hase no exaust when you try to push it past that . and there is no axeleration after 6500. it just started two days ago.

no mods exept for typhoon air filter
no engin lights or codes cumming up.

 

The air filter is a problem regardless of anything else. The OEM air filter is actually top notch, and "improving" on it only means you are filtering less and more junk is getting into the engine.


It sounds like a secondary port issue. Perhaps the actuator has failed, you have a vacuum leak that isn't allowing it to open, or it is gummed up / carboned up.
