First off i'd like to say i am proud to have an 8 and to be part of the rx8club! it help me allot to learn about the mazda rx8 and how to prevent problemes!

NOW, i guess it's my turn to ask for some help!

first off, i feel that when i start my car the IDL is somewhat stable but never at the same spot.However the needle is always moving between 0.7 and 1 ( it only does that when i'm just sitting in the car) also i hear a " blop blop" noise coming out of the exsaust ( the exsaust is brand new maybe 7 month old ) i feel like it's choking or something!

Any info on that part?


one more thing!

Last night i started my car wait till it heats all the normal procedure. Then when i put it in first gear i clutch it and the car didn't want to pass 4rmp it felt like something was holding it back. then i stoped and put it in neutral and it reved and wounld pass 4rmp. I shut it off waited a bit and restarted and it drove normaly.

This can be due to what!?
