use a non foaming glass / window cleaner and newspaper as the cloth. its going to take a bit of time / elbow grease, but it should get it off. i had something similar to that and that's what removed it for me. (i think the glass cleaner is used was meguires quik glass cleaner)

Looks like etching from acid rain or calcium deposits from hard water. If you have an automotive paint clay bar, you can try rubbing that on the glass to see if it gets rid of it.

i coudln't find the meguires quik glass cleaner anywhere locally so i went and bought armourall auto class cleaner, thats non foaming,i used newpapers as a cloth and i was scrubbing for couple mins on an area and i couldn't see the differences, the spots seem to be stil there..

Are there a special type of clay bar that works for the window cause the only ones i mange to find was the mequires clay bar kit?

try this, worked on the hard water spots I had on my windshield:

Spray on a light coat, gently rub in with micro fiber cloth, repeat daily. Mine went away after a week or so.

You can also try CLR, but be very very careful not to let it get near the edges of your windshield and onto the trim.

The weird thing is, the stains aren't visible when the windshield is dry .you can only see it when you try to wipe the windshield dry when it's wet

maybe an oil based stain then. The oils can get trapped in the pitting of the windshield.

your going to have to scrub your *** off. Try something like invisible glass which is a very safe window cleaner. Replace your windshield wiper blades after your get the windshield clean to make sure nothing is redeposited.

you still need to replace the wipers to have ones without that crap on them.

Uhm, I'd recommend against hard scrubbing on the windshield. I don't know about your cars, but on mine the windshield material is super soft: there are a couple of places where I rubbed with a cotton towel without enough lubrication, I guess, and it left thin scratches that are only visible when the sun is at the right angle, or at night, but they're still annoying.

I'd try that Plastex stuff with a buffer - it works great on yellowed headlights.......but they're plastic.

I've never had a problem with it.

Have you seen the ingredients?
