Hi, i have a 04 with 88k miles on it. Past couple of days it was ~20 degrees. i went to crank it up today and it will not turn over. It tries to crank, but wont turn over. a small amount of white smoke comes out of the pipes when i try.
I've tried to jump it,and ive got the battery recharged. Ive also tried the manual's directions to deflood the car, with no luck. Any tips?

have you tried pull/push starting it?
Also, you'll want to check your plugs to see if they've fouled

RX8 will start in cold weather as long as battery is good, using upgraded starter if it is original series 1, good coils/plugs, and the compression is good. Sounds like your battery is OK if it was cranking normally.

I've fired mine up with no problem at temps well below 0 F. Just need to let her warm up longer before hitting the road.
