I disconnected these 3 hoses. now the 3rd does not fit. Am i just retarted or am i missing a piece of hose that went over that yellow nipple? im sorry i don't know much about cars or the technical terms of these parts. any help would be appreciated.

On my car the very top rubber nipple that you have a hose plugged into is actually completely sealed, is yours? I have an s2 so it may be different but it looks like the same exact accordion hose.

Looks like you are just missing a ~4 inch section of hose there. Heres a pic of how mine looks...
