What do you think?
I replaced my clutch two months ago with an ACT comp clutch, lately it has been getting harder and harder to get it into gear. It finally stopped going into gear all together. It felt like it was the slave cylinder but I replaced it yesterday and it still wont budge. If I let the car sit for a day or so I can get it to go into gear if I shove it really hard but that dosent last long. Only other thing I can think of and excuse me for getting girly but I dont know the name of the thing.. Im thinking the fork thingy got bent and is not catching the slave cylinder to disengage it from the clutch, does that make sense? Any suggestions? Im taking it over to the shop tonight and dropping the tranny to have a look.

Same thing happened to me, bushing at the bottom of my shifter went bad. Just pull out your stick shifter and take a look. A link to the thread where I posted my problem. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/rp-axial-flow-short-shifter-issues-129142/

I hope thats it.. AND I hope its easy to fix. I cant believe I paid all that money for the slave cylinder and the one I had was ok. If it was easier to get to I would put the old one back on.

Sooo.. Here's what the problem was. The end of the clutch where its flat and attaches to the firewall was torn. As in the metal was torn! It ripped around one of the bolts, got it welded back on and all is good now... I drove her home which felt GREAT! I drove the FC up to the shop so now I have to figure out how to get her home! LOL

you didn't bleed it properly. crack the bleeder screw at the clutch slave cylinder and let it bleed out itself (gravity bleed). also, crack loose the hard line connection at the firewall as well. there might be air trapped at the master cylinder. if that doesn't help, you might have gotten a defective slave cylinder.
