weird whistle/chirp when i accelerate

Hi guys, first of all my name's Alin.
I got an RX8 a few days ago, did all my research and stuff, got it, serviced it, changed the spark plugs and leads at EuroSpec2000 today but just wanted to ask see if any of you guys have experience the same problem with your rx8.
It starts alright, but as soon as it goes over 3000RPM in every gear it whistles like its got a big *** turbo... and it wont rev more then 5000RPM... Im not getting any errors or codes from the ECU... its just slow and noisy...
Any ideas on where to start?

You're problem sounds like a vacuum leak. I hate vacuum leaks.

Weird whistle sound
All of a sudden I started hearing a whistle sound when accelerating. Once it hits about 2500 rpm or higher. Let go of the gas and it gets lower. Anyone know what it could be? It just started and it can be quite annoying
