I have an 06 wit 25k miles on it, and recently its been having starting problems. I took it to a shop and they said it was cuz i needed a new battery. so i bought a new battery and put it in and it helped for a while but now its doing it again. crank crank crank, kinda start, crank crank crank crank, kinda start.... u get the point... however, sometimes it will do that n after a while it will start. n if i run it for a bit n let the engine heat up, it will start right up again.... idk wat the prob is... please help

plugs and coils? Cold start problems are usually always an issue with coils. Rarely new coils won't fix this, but good to replace plugs at the same time. Search for 'Cold Start Problem' and you'll probably see that 95% are fixed by new coils or people recommending new coils. 25k is a little low to need to replace them, but none the less, sounds like the problem.

would coils effect performance? like i live in a lane n the top of the lane is a slight hill n wen my car is cold, unless i rev my motor up a bit n pop the clutch, my car almost dies going over it.... ill go look at the cold start problems of other ppl too, but i cant find coils for less then 130 bucks for all 4 n im pretty broke...

Coils could or could not cause performance issues, but usually yes. You'll notice more power after replacing
