Weird sound coming from engine

I have a very bad sound coming from my engine and I haven't had the time to go to the mechanic so hopefully I will be able to this week but I just want some feedback before I go to what it might. When ever I accelerate my my car and it hits 2k-3k I hear noise in the engine that sounds like somethings are rubbing up against each other. The way I stop hearing it is so let go of the accelerator and lets the RPM fall then the noise goes away. But this happens in neutral, reverse, drive and everything. I will try to get a video up with the sound but the rubbing does not sound good and it sounds like its rapidly happening so its like a continuous noise.

Please give some info about your car. Year, model (manual/auto), miles, mods, cel, service record. Have you noticed any difference when driving? Further, it would probably be helpful if you could locate where this sound comes from (left/right side, throttle body, intake, glove box, etc.). Rotary engines are known for some weird noises, which are considered normal. Such noises sound like "marbles in a can" and they are noticeable in low rpms. Hard to tell though based on the information you provided if you belong to this category. I am sure someone in here with more experience and knowledge will be able to help you out. Just be very descriptive of your issue
