warm A/C issue.

So, I'm noticing that as of the past week, the air from my vents is coming out warm. My RX8 is a 2005 AT model with 57,000 miles on it. I've had it for about 5 months with no problems up until this.

I have checked to see if the problem was the temperature **** with that display trick but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I always have the settings on recirculation, dash only intake, and usually run it on 2. I don't have warranty on it because I got it from craigslist and had my mechanic check it out when I bought it; he said it all checked out fine. Might this be a compressor issue? I never had a compression test done because I don't have the money.

Do a search. The topic has been covered many times. Besides, its February. You should have the heat on.

Not when I live in Florida. I have already done many searches but I find that often times, I don't understand the jargon they're using. I'm not too mechanically inclined when it comes to names. I have always "played it by ear" with the previous cars I have owned.

It could be a lot of things; most likely it's low on freon. Have your mechanic check it out.
