Upgraded Starter

So I have been having this problem ever since I purchased my 8 about 5 months ago. Everytime I turn my car off, I need to wait AT LEAST 20-30 minutes before I can start my car.

People have told me different things about what I can get done to fix that, but I know that Mazda made an upgrade starter to fix the "Hot/Warm Start" problem, which is what I think I have.

Would getting an upgrade starter fix this problem I am having, or do I have to look into getting something else fixed?

Its one of 2 things. Starter or your compression is low. Thats what happen to a local owner.

Would I have to go to a dealer in order to have them check my compression?

^ Yes, but the upside is that if you have low compression and are within the 100k drivetrain warranty it's a freebie, along with the motor itself.

But first get an uprated starter - Mazmart vendor here has them. It's really a shame that prior '04 and early '05 owners didn't take advantage of the free starter/battery upgrade when it was available.
