Unusual knocking sound
Every time I put my 8 into reverse, or even when I'm stepping on the brakes, I hear a knocking sound coming from the front. I don't know what could be causing this problem. 
it only seems to happen when I step on the brakes.

I'm just screwing with you. It would help if you could narrow down where the knocking is coming from and what type of knocking it is that would be great. A video would even better.

Lol that's messed up. It sounds like its coming from under the belts but I don't know, it's somewhere around that area. I'll try to upload a video by tomorrow.

Not really, I was able to find a used actuator from a member here and it fixed it but recently started doing it again so I plan on just replacing the whole SSV assembly (they don't sell the actuator new separately). You can verify by pressing against the arm while it is doing it, it should go away when you press against it. With age the internals of the actuator just get loose.
