The answer is no. It wouldn't bolt up due to the location of the exhaust ports. Besides, all the old Rx-7 turbos have dated designs.
dot dot dot... you had to go and ruin it all for us...

^^

He's right.

When it comes to an RX-8.. Don't go cheap/easy on the FI. If you do, you'll be one of those kids crying because his motor blew up.

RX-7 twin turbos may cost less, but it will cost more to customize every part of them so it can fit on an RX-8..

Wow, you actually took my advice? I was only kidding...

Twin turbos from an RX-7 is NOT a direct swap... I hope you didn't buy them already.

Just buy a greddy turbo kit, and get the turbo upgrade from mazda maniac or fluidmotorsports, and get a cobb access port to tune the cars computer, but have Mazda maniac to set the calibrations or fluid motorsports

http://www.mazdamaniac.com/upgrade/M...20Upgrade.html

http://www.fluidmotorsports.com/

Those are the websites you should look at, and the vendor is on here. so you can PM him [private message] to ask about pricing and what you need.

PM me if you have other questions, by the way where are you from?

Age is not an excuse.

We're all learning.

the problem is, you should do some research before you ask a question.

Twin Turbo from FD (I assume thats what you want) will not work. Its a very complex system that even most FD owners want to get rid of (I like it tho)

It's 2 Small Hitachi Turbo (Mazda loves Hitachi turbo for some reason, EX : MZ-R) running together (at mid-higher rpm) to give the 280 hp (Japan).

although i find this thread hilarious, i do not understand why some of us are bashing him directly. he is new to the forum and most likely new to his rx8. When I come across a problem the first thing I do is come to the internets to look for my answer and where better to ask the question then in this forum. I am sure he now knows to use the search tool but in all the jokes I think anyone could have helped him out by just giving a serious answer long before this thread made it to its second page.

To the OP sorry about all the troubles mate. Good luck with the Greddy kit and install (if you actually buy it)
