Truble starting when warm
Hey guys, i have an RX-8, 2005 and when I stall it, she doesn't want to start, i have changed the battery, the spark plugs, the cranker sensor, a brand new heavy duty clutch kit, and the bitch still has problems..in the morning or when it's been parked for a while, not a problem and she drives beautifully, but if I have to stop to fuel up or stall at the lights, forget it...have to wait at least 10mins and after 15 attempts, she starts... Can anyone help me please, i don't know what to do anymore, and im not spending any more on it. My husband has immobilised one of the sensors in the exhaust pipe, and we're looking into putting a new exhaust hollow one all the way through!! Anyone have any idea what could it be, or you experiencing the same problem??

you didn't mention anything about your ignition coils, those could also be your problem. some of the 05's do have weak starters, and a combination of a weak starter and bad ignition coils could be causing hot start problems. also, DON'T STALL YOUR CAR

guys come on, read up a little. Hard warm starts and unable to start for 15 mins is clearly a major symptom of engine failure. If you did all your maintenance like you said you did there is nothing else remaining.
If your cat was clogged you would be in limp mode and unable to accelerate.
Get a compression test done asap. Call your dealer and fix an apointment. You are still covered by warranty since you have a 2005.
Its clearly your engine
