Transmission help

Ok, this morning when I was at a stop light I had the car in first and my clutch all the way in. My car started moving forward like an automatic when your foot is off the brake.

It's been quite hard to get into gear, I was wondering if anyone else has ha this problem.

I am going o be changing the tranny an diff fluids tomorrow

Check the clutch petal.......the bracket could be on it's way out...

look for a leak in the slave or master as well....

Awesome, will do! Do you think that it could have anything to do with the throttle bearring?

I had the same problem in my Ford Ranger and was told it was a common problem for those
when the slave cylinder starts to go bad. My symptoms were that it's REALLY hard to get into
gear while stationary, but as soon as the output shaft is moving, it shifts fine. Don't know if
this applies to the 8 or not, but I thought I'd share.

It's covered under warranty Take it to the dealer...then put a bracket on it to stiffen it up...and/or get it welded

Warranty if he is under 100k miles.
We know he's under the 8 year limit.
