Traction control light flashes while driving.

Sometimes while driving, normally anytime i break 70mph and hit a bump or anything, the traction light will blink and my gas to the engine will cut off until i hit the DSC button or let off the gas for like 10 seconds.

i hope there is a way to fix this besides always having dsc off?

it has only done this since i installed my suspension..idk if i knocked something loose like the speed detectors or what?

You probably have a bad wheel sensor. Check for codes.

What parts of the suspension did you "do"? What tire sizes are you running? What is the wear on them?

It sounds you are running so close to the limits of where TCS kicks in, that it doesn't take much to overwhelm it.

oh it could be that my front tires are almost slicks? >_>

i changed out the shocks/springs to dspecs + stechs.

tire size is 225/35/19 iirc in front and 235/30/19 or something in the back.

i know when i put new tires on, i get traction light come on alot, until the tires break in. so i have to ride with DSC off for the first 2 weeks.

i dont see the front wheels causing your problem, since they have more rotation then back anyways (from turning left and right) but thats my thought, idk!!

As posted above, check your sensors make sure they didnt get hit and see if you have codes.

accessport could show a code, maybe it can narrow down to what side was being triggered. i know it shows a code for low tires pressure when that lights comes on.

IS there somewhere you can go that you know will always trigger it? Maybe start logging, drive it, trip it, stop logging, and take a look at what was logged?
