Torque problem

Hi guys, i've being reading about it, i have seen several similar problems, but i wonder if it's the same issue, ok my car from some time ago to now, when it starts is like when you turn the key to start it on you have to keep the key turn to have enough energy to start, and i see the car has lost torque, today, when i start the car, it was weak, then the car start blinking the CEL and the battery light...

after a while, i turn off the car, and turn on, and the car comes to normal, i have read that i have to check the coils, and spark plugs, i going to do that, but if while i get the parts, is it anything i can do to keep using the car ?

What do you think about my problem could it be anything else ?
if it's the coils when i scan the car it is going to show it in the computer ?

A battery light usually means that your battery isn't charging. This is usually because of corroding grounding points, battery terminals, or battery terminal clamps. It could also be from a failing alternator

A flashing CEL is always a misfire. Lots of things could cause a misfire. Start with this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/tech-garage-...t-here-222280/
A bad engine block ground could cause a misfire problem as well.

Hard time starting could be because of failing ignition, failing compression, weak battery, or weak starter.

All told, new ignition is a good idea, along with a new battery if yours is really old. If it is relatively new, disconnect the battery cables and clean the terminals and the clamps thoroughly with baking soda or coka-cola and a wire brush. Make sure all corrosion is gone. Reconnect the clamps and make sure they are seated well before you tighten them down.

These two things should solve most of your problems, however come back and let us know if there is anything it doesn't solve.

hey thanks for your answer, i think it's not the alternator, cuz i unplugged one of the sides of the battery, and the car got on, i'm not pretty sure about it, but a friend of mine said that if we unplugged one of the two battery plugs, and the car get off it would mean that the alternator was broken, so as it doesn't happen i suppose the alternator is ok.

The battery is relatively new, it has like 5 or 6 months, when i put that battery, the guys told me that the battery was at the minimum energy, don't know what it means, i guess it could be the alternator cuz maybe it isn't get the battery fully charge, you tell me, what tests can i do to make sure about it.

Sometime ago, i changed spark plughs, and cables, but see this, the spark plugs before the new ones i got, was messed, and the car stills had good torque, after i changed for the new ones, i felt the car lost torque, i bought the ngk sparkplugs + ignition wires, so i have always thought it is something related to that, so i came with the idea of buying the BHR ignition kit which i have read a lot and most of the posts says it is a great improvement, but it is like $580 so i'm afraid to buy it and at the end it doesn't solve the trouble.

I'll read the link you gave me to see if i can find something there...
