temperature gauge indicator problem

Hi,everybody....
i have a strange problem .When i came home, and turned the the key to OFF position....the temeperature gauge indicator didn't come back to the "cold" "C" position but stayed in the middle. The next day, when i started the engine and warmed up ECU considered as cold point the middle and indicator moved to the "H".When i came home again and shut off indicator stayed there (H) and for a long time now.....
Car is ok!!!thermostat, coolant, fans ....all in working condition!!!
Suggestions please??????

everytime i turn the key on or off...i can see the indicator trying to move but it seems that something is blocking it.Anyway...i have a temperature gauge installed as well an oil pressure and oil temperature. It's just annoying to see indicator all the time at the HOT zone.
