Mine is a 2005 basic model....after the heaviy rainning day in socal my tail light hav some water go in....Is that the Wranntey will cover it???

 

Yes, it will be covered by the warranty and they will give you new lights.. However, I would wait until you have another service to do, such as an oil change.

I had mine done and they did it the same day (they probably had some in stock because this is a known issue).

As long as the mods did not cause the problem, it would be covered by the warranty. If the warranty is up, there's no warranty to cover it.

I don't know how much water is involved when this happens on an RX-8, but my daughter had an Accord where one taillight would fill with water. I fixed that by drilling a couple of drain holes in the bottom.

my car has some mods done to it and the dealer replaced my front and both back lights cause it was covered under the warranty
